Monro (1879–1932), English poet and editor, founded the ‘Poetry Review1 in 1912, and edited ‘Poetry and Drama’ (1914). He opened the Poetry Bookshop, and was the publisher of the five volumes of ‘Georgian Poetry’. His ‘Collected Poems’ (1933) contained a biographical sketch by F.S. Flint and a critical note by Eliot. An obituary by Pound appeared in the ‘Criterion’ in July 1932.
