ABSTRACT
It is human nature to strive constantly for improvements in what we do and how we do things on a daily basis. Soccer is no different, and many coaches are constantly looking for ways of enhancing performance. Throughout this book we have tried to demonstrate how and why match analysis can play an important part in improving performance. The match analysis process will undoubtedly be affected by current and future technological developments. Therefore, the aim of this chapter is to examine what may lie ahead in the future.
