ABSTRACT
How many such aristocrats are to be found in Germany, and especially in Prussia? Where is their political tradition? Politically, German aristocrats, particularly in Prussia, amount to almost nothing. And it seems obvious that today a state policy aimed at breeding such a stratum of large rentiers of genuinely aristocratic character is out of the question.
