Conclusions

Sartre claims that La Transcendance de l’ Ego establishes three important conclusions. The correct understanding of the ego allows:

1 A correct transcendental phenomenology. 2 A refutation of solipsism. 3 A non-idealist phenomenology which provides a philosophical foundation

for ethics and politics.
