ABSTRACT
These interconnections further ensured the integration of the whole body into a circulatory system, and the six piao-li pairs are known as the' six unions' (liu hoI).b As for the 10 mo of Tu, Jen and Phi, they are distributed over the front, back and sides of the body, increasing the efficiency of the chhi circulation. The 15 10 mo points are chiefly used for therapy in cases where piao-li symptoms are manifested at the same time, thus indicating that both Yang and Yin viscera have been affected by disease.
