ABSTRACT
It is important for teachers of the deaf to be familiar with the audiological service with which hearing impaired children and their families will be involved. They are often asked to contribute to the information presented at clinic appointments and in some cases may accompany children and their families to the hospital. Their knowledge of how the child is managing their hearing aids and functioning in the learning situation will complement clinical testing.
