For example, 16-19 teachers need to consider whether an expansive, rather than a restricted learning environment can be created in their classroom. This needs a collaborative approach, valuing a wide range of strategies, rather than the narrow range of experiences available if a more individualist approach is taken. All 16-19 teachers will be members of one or more teams, however formally or informally they are constituted. It is worth reflecting how effective those teams are in supporting your own development into becoming an effective 16-19 teacher.
