ABSTRACT
In this chapter we regard the children as experts on their own learning and consider how we can give them opportunities to do this. We also think about the expertise offered by the nursery nurse, the teaching assistant, the special needs support assistants and others. And we come to the particular knowledge and expertise held by the parents, carers and others in the community.
