ABSTRACT
In this chapter, we consider some issues surrounding the role of feedback in assessment and learning generally and ask what CAA can contribute to feedback processes. We then consider approaches to designing feedback for CAA and look at examples of different types of online feedback including predefined responses, model answers, online response to essays, and mixed-mode feedback.
