ABSTRACT
This chapter goes through the most common licence agreement terms to explain in lay people’s terms the role they play in a licence, pointing out and commenting on some of their principal characteristics and the things to look out for or pay particular attention to. This chapter thus serves as an introduction to explain what goes into any licence and things to think about when negotiating.
