ABSTRACT
In any contract situation it is important to ensure that the right sort of contractor is employed and this is particularly relevant in relation to grounds maintenance contracts. Landscape contractors vary considerably with regard to the type of work they are equipped to do and the size of contract that they can perform. Consequently it is necessary to ensure that, as far as possible, the contractor is matched to the contract, if the best results are to be obtained.
