ABSTRACT
At Aalborg University we use project oriented education. Each semester (= ½ academic year) the students work out, in groups, a project documented by a report, which is the basis for an evaluation after the semester. From 7th to 10th semester these projects are normally related to problems in professional companies, i.e. a cooperation is established between a group of students and a company. The group works under supervision of one or two counsellors from the academic staff. For further information about principles of education at Aalborg University see Olsen (1989) .
