ABSTRACT
This chapter looks at clients of the construction industry and at their needs in terms of achieving success in implementing their building projects.
Different types of clients have differing needs in this respect and it is therefore necessary, in order to ensure a satisfactory outcome to the implementation process, that these are identified and then matched with the procurement system whose characteristics are most likely to satisfy those needs.
