Some organizations manage their projects without specific attention to the risks associated with it. Others have adapted processes so as to be able to highlight risk areas and direct appropriate resource at the correct time to manage them. The process needs to identify the risk, analyse its impact and to formulate an appropriate management response, Techniques can vary from brainstorming to very complex statistical analysis and, to be successful, needs to be understood and user-friendly to the building team. Otherwise the technique will not taken on board.
