ABSTRACT
This chapter discusses the three main ways of searching for information on the Internet. The first is to use a ‘search-engine’ which will search a database of sites to find matches against specified keywords. The second is to use a general ‘index site’ which holds a collection of site references organized by subject. The last is to go to a specific construction industry index site.
