ABSTRACT
Being a parent has always been an awesome responsibility, but it is particularly so now, with so much information to take in; not only information about children’s needs but also about the dangers in the environment, the risks or accidents and abductions. Because of this, it is important for parents and carers to get play and playwork into perspective. After all, they can only do so much.
