ABSTRACT
In this chapter we are investigating the Web on two levels. So far we have analysed the Web in terms of its content that we can label as the first level. What we discovered was that to understand the Web’s content we needed to think of the various ways that it is a manifestation of information theory and a presentation of information. We now want to move on to the second level of our investigation where we study the Web in terms of its form. What is the architectural structure of the Web and what are the consequences of such a form?
