ABSTRACT
The main themes of this book are pollution and other external effects, and natural resources; its main aim is to establish the subjects mentioned within the standard setting of economic analysis. We have not tried to write a book surveying the state of the art in this field by collecting the flowers scattered about in the various journals. Instead we have tried to write a book which gives our interpretation of the issues involved.
