ABSTRACT
Cyberspace has brought into sharp focus some of the issues facing national law: although other media (satellite broadcasting, for example) share some of the features of the Net as a potentially global medium, the ease with which online production may be decentralised and shifted around the world means that governments and legislators face a much more difficult task when seeking to fit the Internet into existing legislative frameworks.
