The fourth and final case study was conducted at CableCo, a foreign-invested enterprise (FIE), or more specifically, a Sino-foreign joint venture. With the same objectives as in the previous three chapters, this chapter first presents a brief overview of FIEs in China, and then explains the data collection methods employed in this case. The case study begins with background information on CableCo, then focuses on its current HR activities and discusses the findings.
