ABSTRACT

A verbal presentation is basically a talk, but talks come in a variety of guises. Giving directions to the pub is a verbal presentation, and so is giving a formal lecture to 500 people. Geographers should possess both of these skills. Verbal presentation can also be important in your exams if you are faced with a viva voce exam, and most courses involve verbal presentations from students in their coursework.
