HAACK, SUSAN In the 1970s Susan Haack (1945-) was known principally as a philosopher of logic; in the 1980s she began to write extensively and originally on questions of epistemology; and most recently she has added to her published repertoire papers on questions of a political, an ethical, and an aesthetic nature.
