ABSTRACT
Chapter 6 described the public rituals of Catholic life. The previous chapter to this one has described the more individual, but still for the most part public, activities of Catholic devotion. But Catholics like everyone else have private lives, and these lives are, or ought to be, equally influenced and informed by their faith.
