ABSTRACT
The following four letters were written by Richard Verstegan to Father Robert Persons in Spain. They are quotations or para-phrases from letters sent to Verstegan in Antwerp by one or more London informants. They seem to be based, at least partly, on eye-witness accounts, and they supply new information.
