ABSTRACT
This letter of June 12 is a continuation of the letter of June 2. It is unsigned, and it lacks an endorsement. Nevertheless, it is clear from the handwriting, the context, and the ideology that it is written by Francis Johnson to Lord Burghley. The original is in Harley MSS. 6849, f. 143 recto and verso. Since it has no signature, it is not catalogued in the third volume of the Catalogue of the Harleian Manuscripts (1808).
