In this chapter we look back at the material from the previous 12 chapters and consider it in a broader context. We have chosen to break from speaking in a shared authorial voice in order to facilitate a more freeranging exchange of perspectives between the two authors. In our view, this approach also reflects the current state of a field characterized by open questions and contrasting perspectives. In some sense, a dialog also reflects the process of theory development. Each of us provided three of the six topics of discussion that comprise the chapter. By mutual agreement, turns do not exceed 500 words.
