ABSTRACT

Sitting at the rear of our brain on the right side our Human Relationships Director is concerned with evaluating the significance of complex inter actions within relationships between ourselves, others, and our environment now and how these are likely to be in the future. Acute awareness of others’ body language and vocal tones helps us to understand the intentions and motivations of others and recognise the feelings generated, such as trust or mistrust. Visual and auditory sensory inputs are used to evaluate the health of current relationships and by extrapolation, the likely health of relationships in the future. Four key functional areas support this meta-function (Figure 6.1). Functions of the rear right cortical quadrant (the HRD). https://s3-euw1-ap-pe-df-pch-content-public-p.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/9780203501375/0bffb3d0-b816-41ba-b3fa-c9589a002963/content/fig6_1_C.jpg" xmlns:xlink="https://www.w3.org/1999/xlink"/>
