ABSTRACT
The major goal of this thesis was to arrive at a compphsitional account of rising and falling declaratives, and to do so in a way that illuminates their use as questions and restrictions on such use. In this section I will recapitulate how that goal is achieved by the analysis and discuss implications of the overall architecture of the propphsal.
