ABSTRACT
The law has evolved from systems, principles and customs governing conduct in relation to various aspects of people’s lives. Rules are established by groups of all sizes to ensure that the rights of members are respected and responsibilities are fulfilled. Small or informal groups tend to adopt simple rules, which are not legally binding, while governments of countries and states develop complex and comprehensive rules, which can be enforced (Morris et al. 1996).
