ABSTRACT
In Chapters 10 and 11 I have evaluated Nietzsche’s model from a Jungian perspective and concluded that Nietzsche’s dyadic framework of opposites remains coherent when translated into the triadic framework proposed by Jung. In this chapter I shall evaluate Jung’s model from a Nietzschean perspective to determine if it can function without the third element, the symbol.
