ABSTRACT
Case-based instruction is not the typical lecture-style class in which students sit and quietly take notes. In fact, the teacher does not usually have a central role in the classroom. Instead, the spotlight is on you, the student. Learning happens through student-led discussion of cases and group activities. The teacher guides the learning process by assisting discussion to ensure that key concepts and principles are discussed and to create alternative scenarios.
