ABSTRACT

The uniqueness of each individual member of an organization and the presence of a number of needs peculiar to himself which each individual seeks to satisfy are important aspects of organization. Various behavioural scientists, such as Abraham Maslow, Douglas McGregor, Chris Argyris, Frederick Herzberg, have paid considerable attention to these aspects. Basically this is the approach of the individual psychologist, where the individual worker, or member of the organization, is the basic unit for consideration and the starting point for theories on managing the human relations aspects of an enterprise.
