ABSTRACT
In the creative timeline of any lighting design, there’s a point when the concepts and aesthetic lists are set aside, and the lighting instruments begin to be selected and distributed on the groundplan. This is the point when the actual construction of the light plot begins. Before that point, however, there is value to take a moment, step back, and be certain that all of the parameters that surround any production have been considered.
