ABSTRACT
This book is about greener theatre production, so you may wonder why there is a chapter about the areas outside the design and technical theatre arena. Any sustainability initiative has to be embraced by all areas of the company. Administrative offi ces and the areas outside of production are often ignored in discussions about greening theatre. Anyone working in the main offi ces, house management, or performance preparation is an integral part of the production process. Without their efforts the company would not exist.
