ABSTRACT
This chapter will explore questions of what works in delinquency prevention and what works in treatment and rehabilitation. A number of related issues relevant to treatment will be discussed, such as the need for specificity in treatment for different cultures and modes of treatment that have been shown to be ineffective. Treatment issues and programming for girls are discussed in Chapter 4.
