ABSTRACT
The following chapter is the first out of three that outline global farm production. In this chapter you will learn about land areas and crops; and thereafter about animal production and non-food production respectively. The three chapters make up a continuation of the previous discussion about world population, and all three have a quantitative character. Practical production is further explained in Parts III and IV.
