ABSTRACT
There are many examples of technologies that use the sun’s power to heat buildings. However, there are no standard systems or approaches, because each case is specific and demands an individual solution. Space heating systems can be divided into domestic or small scale and district scale; and water- or liquidbased and air-based. We will look at the domestic or small scale first before looking at examples of district heating systems.
