ABSTRACT
Dr Ford ... has been with me this morning & he almost certainly confirms my suspicions that my child has been dead some time. He won't say that he is certain of it but that it is most probable. But he assures me I shall continue very well until the time & then he says I shall be in no more danger than if the child were alive & shall recover afterwards faster than usual. ... I hope with a proper trust in God I shall be able to go on through this affair.
