The use of forestry thinnings and bamboo for building structures

Building materials tend to get scarce in many places of the world. The present sources become exhausted and the ecologic systems are distorted. This arouses the necessity to make as good use as possible of the readily available materials. Vegetable materials are self-replenishing and play therefore a very important role in this respect. Thin roundwood, as a maintenance product of the woods, and bamboo are available almost everywhere.
