ABSTRACT

Components II, IV and VI are three straightforward components as far as labelling is concerned. Component II is the most clear-cut sector-component of the three, with nine management consultancy firms featured, including the highest six loadings. This contrasts with accountancy (component VI), with just seven of the eleven firms featured. The last figure reminds us that this is the least important of the components despite its being named after the leading sector in terms of overall connectivity. Accountancy firms not listed on component VI are scattered across all other components except III. This reflects accountancy’s ubiquitous nature, as discussed previously. Advertising is between these two examples, featuring nine firms in component IV but with not all so highly placed as management consultancy firms are in component II.
