The terms used in connection with pitched roofs are illustrated in the line diagram. Fig 1.
LEAN-TO ROOF
As shown in Fig 1 is one of the simplest types of roof and suitable for spans up to about 2.5m. Sometimes known as a ‘pent’ roof.
