ABSTRACT
Consists of a supporting deck of troughed galvanised steel, aluminium or asbestos cement units with a built-up finish of an insulating layer covered with felt. Roof decks may be used or flat roofs, and also for pitched roofs where the decking either spans up the slope or between roof frames. Woodwool cement slabs may also be used, either over intermediate supports or as reinforced decking slabs.
