ABSTRACT
Putlog scaffold:- Has a single row of standards as shown Fig 1. For a five board scaffold set 1.245m from the wall face, allows 100mm clearance for plumbing. Scaffold is partly supported by wall.
Tubes:- Steel or aluminium alloy to BS 1139 Metal Scaffolding. Do not mix steel and aluminium as strengths differ. Keep aluminium clear of damp lime, cement, or salt water.
