ABSTRACT
Financial feasibility studies are also known as development appraisals and involve the gathering together of a range of diverse information on the costs and values of a project. This information is incorporated into a framework and used to determine the answer to some key questions. Development appraisal is one of the key aspects of assessing the viability of a development project. It is however used throughout the development process to fulfil a number of key tasks.
