ABSTRACT
In the final full year of the NHES, nearly 30 per cent of the county’s schools subscribed to an annual programme, we made 35 school visits, over 120 handling kits were lent, 34 training sessions were held and 25 days of educational fieldwork were undertaken. Demand from Northamptonshire schools and others outside the area was high and growing, and the NHES was working with around 2,500 children and teachers of all ages each year.
