ABSTRACT
An Italian nymph with the power of prophecy who lived at Tibur (Tivoli) in central Italy, in the stream Albula which joins the Anio. She was a prophetess or Sibyl, and composed oracular verses which were deposited in the Capitol at Rome with the Sibylline books.
