ABSTRACT
The band of heroes who took part in Jason’s quest for the Golden Fleece in the ship Argo. The expedition, of which there were many variant accounts, is best known to us from the Hellenistic poet Apollonius Rhodius, but the story had also been familiar to Homer and Pindar.
