ABSTRACT
There are many standpoint epistemologies and standpoint epistemologies of science. In this chapter, we will set out the most influential, that of Sandra Harding, who is one of the founders of feminist philosophy of science. We will also take a brief look at the most recent philosophical development of standpoint epistemology of science, that of Alison Wylie.
