ABSTRACT
SILVANA GARCIA Brazil is a huge country, a melting pot of great cultural diversity. There are many
theatre productions in Brazil, but not as many nor of such a level as the country
really deserves. Most of them are concentrated in the major capitals of the different
States, especially in the south and south east, namely Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.
