Conservation areas/listed buildings/tree preservation orders

If you refer to Fig. 7.1(a)–(g) you will see a typical Conservation Area Policy. You will note that the Local Authority in question has made specific requirements concerning alteration works carried out in this conservation area. When dealing with work in a conservation area you must be prepared to make enquiries with the Local Authority regarding their policies.
